Creative Campaign Development
Alaska Natives Without Land
“Fifty years ago, five Southeast Alaska Native communities were excluded from the largest land claims settlement in U.S. history. We advocate for the restoration of ancestral homelands and work to reunite Southeast Alaska Native people with lands they have stewarded since time immemorial.
A generation is long enough.”
I lead the creative development, production, and post-production of video content that brings urgent awareness to the injustices faced by Alaska Native communities. I coordinate all stages of video production, from concept development and scheduling to directing shoots and managing the editorial process. A key part of my role is conducting sensitive and respectful interviews with participants, giving them a platform to share their lived experiences and challenges in their own voices.
I specialize in video editing tailored for social media platforms, creating short- and long-form videos optimized to maximize impact and engagement. By blending storytelling, advocacy, and creative strategy, I ensure that every piece of content strengthens our mission and amplifies the voices that have too long been silenced.
Sealaska
“Sealaska has strengthened business with culture since 1972. We are a Native institution owned by more than 25,000 tribal member shareholders and guided by our traditions of environmental stewardship and positively impacting our communities.”
I manage the creative development, production, and editing of short-form video content that highlights the organization's initiatives, values, and impact. I am responsible for developing creative concepts during pre-production, including creating detailed storyboards and animations to guide the visual storytelling process.
I coordinate closely with multiple internal departments as well as clients' communications teams to ensure that every project aligns with strategic goals and brand messaging. Through collaboration, innovative visual design, and efficient production management, I deliver engaging videos that effectively communicate Sealaska’s mission to diverse audiences across digital platforms.
Tlingit & Haida
“We are the tribal government representing over 38,000 Tlingit and Haida citizens worldwide, as their sovereign entity that has a government-to-government relationship with the United States. Our commitment to serving the Tlingit and Haida people extends across the globe.”
In collaboration with Tlingit & Haida, and with co-funding from the Goldbelt Heritage Institute, I contributed to a culturally significant project developing animated videos based on children's book resources in the Native Tlingit language. I played a key role in the creative development of the animations, helping bring Indigenous stories to life in a way that honors and supports language revitalization efforts.
My responsibilities included collaborating closely with the design team—writers, illustrators, voice artists, and language experts—to ensure authenticity and creative cohesion. I also led and executed the animation process itself, crafting visually engaging, educational content designed to support young learners and families in connecting with the Tlingit language and culture.
